About this site
Pay Calculator Australia provides free online calculators and information about Australian pay, income tax, superannuation, HECS and HELP repayments and related topics. The site is intended for general use by Australian workers, employers and anyone wanting to estimate their pay and tax.
Estimates only, not advice
Every calculator and article on this site provides general estimates and general information only. Nothing on this site is personal financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from the Australian Taxation Office, Fair Work Ombudsman or a registered tax agent, accountant or financial adviser who understands your personal circumstances.
Our calculators are built on publicly available rates and formulas from the Australian Taxation Office and other official sources, current as at the date shown on each page. Tax rates, thresholds and rules change, most commonly at the start of each financial year, and results may not reflect the most recent updates or your individual circumstances, such as specific deductions, offsets, employer arrangements or visa conditions.
No guarantee of accuracy
While we make reasonable efforts to keep our calculators and content accurate and current, and our figures are reviewed against ATO and Fair Work sources, we do not guarantee that any result is free of error or that it will match your actual pay, tax assessment or entitlements. You should independently verify any figure that matters to a financial decision, and confirm your position with the ATO, myGov or a qualified professional before relying on it.
